Who We Are
The Women Arise & Pray Conference is a partnership with The Esthers of Now & Marama Alliance UK. The conference took place face-to-face for the first time in 2022 and is now coming back in 2023! The Esthers of Now & Marama Alliance are two women-focussed groups that strive to build community and growth in the lives of women in the UK.
How it all began…
At its early stages, the lead up to the conference began when the Esther's of Now founder, Mrs. Sereima Tawake, was moved by the Holy Spirit to start online bible studies in the first lockdown of March 2020. She knew that God was calling her to bring women, specifically Fijian women, together and create a safe space where they could share their stories and testimonies. In June 2020, she properly launched The Esthers of Now, a social media group that allows women to come as they are, free of labels to intercede on behalf of the people they love. Their motto is based on Esther 4:14 – “You’ve been called for such a time as this.”
Soon after the group was formed, The Esther's of Now, with the help of the Alliance, worked towards an online Women Arise & Pray Conference which was aired live across Facebook in November 2020. The conference hosted keynote speakers from Australia, France, Fiji and UK based connect groups such Sunflower Sisters, Aroma of Grace Young Mother's Ministry, the Living Stone Lydias and individuals who were ready to tell their powerful, moving testimonies to their fellow sisters .It gave women an opportunity to grow holistically and to come out from whatever was holding them under – limiting them from achieving their dreams and reaching their full potential.
This year, the Esther's will work with a team of volunteers and Alliance committee members to bring the conference to you, face to face! It will be a two-day conference with speakers from around the UK, prayer sessions to intercede together, interactive sessions and fun activities.
The conference is taking a holistic approach to the growth of women, which means the speakers and activities that take place at the conference will focus on all aspects of life including professional growth, mental health, motherhood, relationship building and spiritual growth.
A message from the Conference Founder: “Come as you are! We need to stand up and speak for those women who aren’t able to stand up for themselves and help them in their journey, to do what God is calling them to do. We are here for such a time as this. Join us for a powerful time of reflection at Women Arise & Pray Conference 2023.”

Other Important things to note:
The conference is open to all women everywhere! Please come as you are.
There will be child care facilities and a special programme for children. Children under the age of 6 are FREE and there will be additional charges for other children i.e. for meals. This can be discussed once you register.
